Making a day of it

Start with coffee and a browse at Drapers Lane. Pick up something for the journey home - a cheese, a bottle, a hamper. Then lose a couple of hours in the antique shops on Broad Street. Walk down to the Priory. Have lunch back with us - a sharing board and a glass of wine — before heading on to Croft Castle or Berrington Hall if you want to make an afternoon of it.

Leominster rewards a slow visit. It's not somewhere you rush through. It's somewhere you stay longer than you meant to.
